Antoine Brignac Funeral Is Today at Lake Church

Funeral services for Antoine Brignac, 93, will be today at the Lake Catholic 
church with the Rev. Wyshoff of St. Amant officiating. Interment will be in 
the church cemetery. Brignac, a life long resident of Lake, died at his home 
there at 7:15 a. m. yesterday after a brief illness. Time of the funeral has 
not been set.

He is survived by one son, V. H. Brignac of Lake; six daughters, Mrs. Ariel 
Vicknair, Mrs. Leonard Murphy, both of French Settlement; Mrs. O. T. Combre, 
Port Vincent; Mrs. Adam V. Brignac, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Nettie Levet and Miss 
Denise Brignac both of Lake; one step-daughter, Mrs. J. O. Brignac of Head-
of-Island; 30 grand children; 57 great-grand children; and one great, great 
grand-child.
