BERTHELOT, ELIZABETH MAE "LIZZIE"

A homemaker and a resident and native ofPrairieville, she died Sunday, Aug. 30,

1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, as

a result of an automobile accident. She was 73. Visiting at Welsh Funeral

Home,Gonzales, 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted
 
by the Rev. David Johnson. Interment in Prairieville Cemetery. Survived by a son,
 
Ronald J. Berthelot, Prairieville; three sisters, Thelma Brown, Prairieville,
 
Lillian Thibodeaux and Audrey Young, both of Gonzales; a brother, Thomas

White Jr., Prairieville; and two grandchildren,Brandi Morgan and Ronald

"Captain" Berthelot Jr., both of Prairieville. Preceded indeath by parents,
 
Thomas and Natalie Theriot White; a brother, Sulcer White; and a sister, Gladys
 
Broussard. Her husband, George Joseph Berthelot, died in the same automobile accident.

BERTHELOT, GEORGE JOSEPH   A retired employee with Kaiser Aluminum &
 
Chemical Corp., he died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, in an automobile accident. His

wife, Elizabeth Mae "Lizzie" Berthelot died later the same night as a result of the

accident. He was 70, a resident of Prairieville and a native of French Settlement.
 
Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, Gonzales, 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m.

Survived by mother, Novie Lobell Berthelot, French Settlement; a son, Ronald J.
 
Berthelot, Prairieville; a brother, Gerald M. Berthelot, French Settlement; and two

grandchildren, Brandi Morgan and Ronald "Captain" Berthelot Jr., both of Prairieville.

Preceded in death by father, Moise Berthelot.
