Miss Elizabeth Bott, of Baton Rouge, one of the competent and popular 
members of the faculty of the Donaldsonville High School, has the sympathy 
of a host of friends here - about in the bereavement visited upon her by the 
death of her father, August Bott, who died of congestion at [ink smudge] 
o'clock Tuesday morning at the Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, where he had 
been taken last week to undergo an operation. Mr. Bott was 62 years of age, 
and is survived by his wife, one daughter, two sons and two sisters. He was 
local observer of the United States Weather Bureau at Baton Rouge. The 
funeral took place in that city Wednesday and was largely attended.
