Death of Mrs. R. C. Braud. - Mrs. Rodolph Cecile Braud, aged seventy-two 
years, died Thursday night of last week at the home of her brother, John 
Ory, in Whitecastle, after an illness of long duration. The remains were 
brought to Donaldsonville Saturday morning and interred in the Catholic 
cemetery, funeral services being held previously at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor church, in Whitecastle. Mrs. Braud is survived by five children, Mrs. 
Henry F. Braud and Simon Braud of New Orleans, Joseph Braud of Darrow, Mrs. 
Emile LeBlanc of Evan Hall plantation, and Henry Braud of Iberville; two 
brothers, Benjamin F. Ory of New Orleans and John Ory of Whitecastle, and 
one sister, Mrs. Gervais LeBlanc of Lake Charles. To these afflicted ones 
profound sympathy is extended by a wide circle of friends.
