Death of Mrs. O. A. Bullion. - Mrs. O. A. Bullion, widow of the late General 
O. A. Bullion, formerly of Hope Villa, died at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. A. V. Osterberger, at Prairieville, at 12:45 o'clock Wednesday, after 
an illness of only a few days. Recently, while on a visit to the family of 
Gen. A. B. Booth, in New Orleans, Mrs. Bullion was hurriedly summoned to the 
bedside of her sister, Mrs. Braud, at Ptairieville. Mrs. Braud died and was 
buried on Jan. 13, and while attending the funeral Mrs. Bullion contracted a 
heavy cold, which speedily developed into pneumonia and caused her untimely 
death.

The funeral took place Tuesday forenoon, with services at the Cornerview 
Catholic church and interment in the Prairieville cemetery.

Mrs. Bullion, before her marriage, was Miss Elmire Babin, and was fifty-six 
years of age. She is survived by six children: Mrs. A. V. Osterberger of 
Prairieville, Mrs. Louis U. Babin of Baton Rouge, Mrs. F. Edw. Babin of Hope 
Villa, Mrs. C. C. McCrory of Lafayette, leonce Bullion of Denham Springs, 
and Sidney Bullion, who resided with his mother in Baton Rouge.

Mrs. Bullion was a woman of attractive personality and gracious bearing, and 
easily made friends of all with whom she came in contact. The announcement 
of her demise will create widespread sorrow and deep regret.
