Waldo Burton, a son of Capt. W. L. Burton, of the Burton-Swartz Cypress 
Company, died in Denver Tuesday and his remains were interred in New York on 
Thursday. As a remark of respect to his memory operations were suspended at 
the Burton sawmill on the latter day, this being the first time the big plant 
had closed down since it has been in existence.
