(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, June 14, 1884, page 3 The sad death of Miss Ella Castelle has caused much sorrow among her schoolmates at St. Vincent's Institute, as owing to her gentle disposition she counted many friends among, both teachers and pupils. Early this season she fell ill of dysentery and, though receiving all the care and attention of which the good Sisters were capable, grew steadily worse until it was thought advisable to send her to her mother in New Orleans. She was accompanied on board the Corona Monday night by Sister Clothilde, a little schoolmate and Miss Marie Blanchy, but being unable to stand the trip, expired on the way down. The bereaved mother, who is in extremely delicate health, has the Chief's sincerest sympathies.
