A few days previous to her death, knowing that her condition was hopeles (sic) the different members of the family who were out of the State were summoned and called to her bedside. Deceased had reached the age of 75 years, and resided here the greater portion of her life, was of a quiet and retiring disposition, and always interested in the advancement and welfare of the community. She is survived by her husband, and several daughters, Misses Ella, Virginia, and Ophelia who lived with her, and Mrs. George Lambert, besides three sons, Messrs Lewis Cointment of Norfolk, Va., Rudolph Cointment of Devol, Oklahoma, and Mr. Theophile Cointment of Albany, New York. Two children preceeded her to the Great Beyond, Mrs. P. J. Dansereau, and Mr. Delmar Cointment. Ten grandchildren are also left to mourn her, together with a sister, Miss Mary Fabre, who also made her home with her. Due to the delay of one of the sons in reaching here the funeral was not held until Thursday afternoon, at St Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral was well attended and following services the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining.
