Died. - COUGHLIN - In Donaldsonville, Tuesday, July 24, 1883, at 4:30 o'clock 
A.M., CORA COUGHLIN, aged 23 years and 8 days, daughter of Caroline Mutchler and 
the late Mathew Coughlin.

One more pure heart has ceased to throb, another chaste spirit has been added to 
the immaculate throng that clusters around the Great White Throne. Poor Cora had 
been ill for a long time, and though the event was not unlooked foe, when the 
Death Angel came, he cast a fresh shadow of gloom over the household that had 
but very shortly before suffered from a similar visitation. Gentle, meek and 
retiring, she made friends wherever she went, and many warm hearts are to-day 
wrung with bitter anguish at the thought of having to give her up forever. May 
she rest in peace and those who now bewail her be accorded the sweet privilege 
of a happy re-union above when their final hour shall come.
