Veneziano Carmelo, a native of Bagnara, Italy, and a nephew of Bruno, Rocco 
and Dominique Savoia, died at 9:30 o'clock p. m. Wednesday, aged 17 years and 
9 days. The funeral took place at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the 
residence of Bruno Savoia, corner Railroad avence (sic) and Taylor street, 
with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery. The local 
Italian society attended the obsequies in a body.
