Dr. B. A. Colomb Dead. - It was with profound regret that the host of friends 
in this community of Dr. B. A. Colomb, a leading physician of Colomb, St. 
James parish, learned of his demise last Monday, after an illness of several 
days. Dr. Colomb had been in poor health for some time past, and recently went 
to New Orleans with the expectation of being operated upon, but was benefitted 
to such an extent by medical treatment that it was not deemed necessary to 
subject him to the painful ordeal of a surgical operation. His remains were 
taken to Mobile Ala., for interment.
