(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, October 19, 1918, page 3 Death of Henry Daigle. - In the death of Henry Daigle who passed away at his residence in Lessard street last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, a splendid type of a most promising young citizen was called to his eternal reward. Deceased was only 23 years of age and had been ill only a few days when death claimed him as its own. He was a native and life-long resident of this parish, and was employed in conducting the "White City" restaurant in Division street, near the T. & P. passenger depot, when the grim reaper ended his career. The funeral took place Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with services and interment ta (sic) the Catholic church and cemetery. Mr. Daigle is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Camille Daigle of Port Barrow; a heart-broken young wife, who was Miss Stella Rivet before her marriage; one little son, Henry; two sisters, Mrs. David Ker and Miss Edith, and three brothers, Oneil, Bernard and George, all residents of Port Barrow with the exception of Bernard Daigle, who resides in New Orleans. The Chief extends its profound sympathy to the grief- stricken relatives.
