Dalferes, formerly of this city, but for some time past a resident of Alexandria, died at 10 o'clock Monday night at Larre's New Commercial Hotel in Houma, aged 30 years. Mr. Dalferes was taken sick [ink smudge] weeks ago while staying at the hotel. At the time of his death he was employed as traveling representative of the Armstrong Packing Company of Dallas, Texas, and J. F. Hayden, mills agent, of Alexandria. He was a native of Belle Rose, Assumption parish, and had a large number of friends and acquaintances throughout this section who were profoundly grieved to learn of his untimely demise. The funeral took place at Houma Tuesday afternoon, with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery. Mr. Dalferes is survived by his wife and an infant son, his mother, Mrs. Edmond Maire, of New Orleans; two brothers, Robert Dalferes, of Crowley, and Sabin Dalferes, of New Orleans; and one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Fleming, of Jennings.
