The bereavement visited upon Mr. and Mrs. Duke Dalferes through the death of their 
infant son, Joseph Warren, aged 3 months, is shared by the entire community, and 
if such a sorrow as has come upon them can be alleviated by the soulful sympathy 
of devoted friends, that measure of consolation is theirs in the dark hour of 
their grief. The brief life of their baby boy was ended at 4 o'clock Monday 
afternoon, and all that was mortal of the little cherub was tenderly laid to rest 
in the Catholic cemetery at a corresponding hour Tuesday, after services at 
Ascension church.
