Death of Mrs. Guiseppe Dato. - Mrs. Guiseppe Dato, an estimable Italian 
woman, died at her home in Churchville last Monday at 12 o'clock noon, after 
an illness of only a few days with pneumonia, aged 37 years. The funeral 
took place Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, with services at the Catholic 
church and interment in the Catholic cemetery. The husband of the deceased 
is employed on one of the gasoline yachts which operates in Bayou Lafourche, 
transporting oysters from Grand Isle to this city. Besides her husband, she 
is survived by four children, two sons and two daughters. She was a devoted 
and affectionate mother, and her demise is very much regretted by her 
numerous friends.
