Willie Delaune, formerly of Prairieville, but who for the past several months has 
been located at Gonzales, died at that place on Wednesday, the 16th inst., after 
an illness of only a few days, aged twenty-one years. His remains were laid to 
rest in the Prairieville cemetery at 10 o'clock Thursday forenoon, the funeral 
being attended by a large gathering of relatives and friends.
