We sympathize deeply with Mr. R.J. Duke in the loss of his baby daughter Mary 
Catharine, whose death occurred Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Duke and his 
family have had a large share of misfortune and affliction recently, which would 
be considered almost unbearable by those much better prepared to sustain it. Young 
Henry Duke, who had his leg broken some weeks ago by the overturning of a cart in 
which he was riding to the depot, is just becoming able to move about, by using 
crutches.
