The remains of Captain J. Dalferes, who died in New Orleans on Tuesday, were 
brought to Donaldsonville to-day and taken to Plattenville for interment. 
Captain Dalferes was an old citizen of Assumption, and the funeral procession 
was followed by many of his relatives and friends from Donaldsonville and the 
adjoining parishes.
