After an illness of several weeks with whooping cough, complicated with other 
ailments, Lionel Dalferes, the thirteen-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry 
Dalferes, died at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the residence of Mr. and 
Mrs. Felix LeBlanc in Chetimaches street. The body was conveyed to Alexandria 
Tuesday afternoon via the T. and P. Railroad, and the funeral took place the 
following day in that city, where the bereaved parents formerly resided. The 
entire community sympathizes with Mr. and Mrs. Dalferes in their sad 
affliction.
