DIED. - DALFERES - At her residence in Assumption parish, La., Thursday, 
January 31, 1884, at 1 o'clock A. M., MRS. A. J. DALFERES, nee Jeannette 
Truxillo, aged 52 years.

This estimable lady was the widow of the late Antoine J. Dalferes of 
Assumption and the sister of Sosthene Truxillo, a respected citizen of the 
same parish. She leaves an only son, Mr. Joe Dalferes, a nephew of Capt. 
Joseph Dalferes, who in common with her other relatives will have general 
sympathy in their affliction. The burial took place yesterday morning at 
Plattenville.
