The body of young Philip Delatte, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Delatte of this 
city, who was drowned at Baton Rouge twenty-eight days before, was recovered 
from the river last Saturday near the place where he went down, and was taken 
to Donaldsonville on the 7:37 T. and P. train Sunday morning. The funeral took 
place shortly after the arrival of the body, with services and interment at 
the Catholic church and cemetery, and was largely attended by sorrowing 
relatves (sic) and friends.
