Died. - DOMINIQUE - At the residence of widow John Dominique, Ascension 
parish, La., on Thursday, August 17, 1882, Anthony Dominique, a native of 
Ascension parish, aged 53 years.

Mr. Dominique was a graduate of the law school of Louisiana University but 
never practiced his profession. He devoted most of his life to teaching; was 
principal of the St. John Commercial School at Plaquemine; a son of the late 
Jno. Dominique and Telcide Hebert, and brother of our friends Messrs. A. P. 
and Jos. Dominique. He was a quiet, estimable citizen who enjoyed the 
respect of all who knew him.
