Mr. Alfred J. Gauthreaux, brother of Messrs. Joseph and Gervais Gauthreaux of 
Donaldsonville, died in New Orleans on Thursday, from sunstroke. His body will 
arrive on the steamer Assumption this morning, and the funeral will take place at 
10 o'clock, from the residence of Mr. Gervais Gauthreaux on Lessard street. 
Deceased was aged 40 years 5 months and 12 days, and was a native of the parish of 
St. James.
