Mable Cecilia Thomassie Gautreau, beloved wife, mother and a resident of 
Gonzales, she passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at age 89. Visiting at St. 
Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, on Tuesday, July 22 from 9 a.m. 
until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Cornerview Cemetery. 
Survived by her two daughters, Cecilia Orgeron and husband Richard and Linda 
Brewer and husband Kelly; two sons, Donald Gautreau and wife Carol and Danny 
Gautreau and wife Cheryl; two sisters, Mildred Burke and Theresa Bautsch; 17 
grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. 
Preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Gautreau; parents, Belizaire and 
Regina Thomassie; sister, Yvonne Bourgeois; and brother, Percy Thomassie. May 
God bless her and keep her in the palm of His hand and may she sing with the 
angels in the heavenly choir.
