Mrs. A. Gingry, Sr., Sonaldsonville, La. - Donaldsonville, La., March 5, - Mrs. 
Andrew Gingry, Sr., nee Augustine Cure, died at her home here Wednesday 
afternoon. She was 84 years of age. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon 
with services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery.

Mrs. Gingry was a native of Donaldsonville and resided here all her life. Her 
husband was killed during the Civil war while standing on the rear gallery of 
the house in which his wife breathed her last. Mrs. Gingry is survived by two 
daughters, Miss Mary Gingry, of this city, and Mrs. O'Donnell, of Derry, Pa., 
besides a number of grandchildren and other family connections.
