Died. - GREENWOOD - At Dugas plantation, Ascension parish, La., on Monday May 
10, 1886, at 5 o'clock A. M., CHARLES F. GREENWOOD, aged 11 years, 3 months and 
3 days, youngest son of A. J. Greenwood.

To the worthy parents of little Charlie we extend our heartfelt sympathy in 
their hour of bereavement and sorrow, and hope the healing hand of time and the 
assurance that their loss in his eternal gain will soon bring them consolation 
for the loss of their bright and promising boy. The lad was admired by all who 
knew him, and the sad vacancy his death has caused in the hearts of an 
affectionate father and doting mother can only be fully appreciated by those who 
have sustained a similar affliction. The interment took place Monday evening at 
the Protestant burying ground on St. Patrick street, after services in the 
Episcopal Church conducted by Rev. W. T. Douglas.
