Good Colored Citizen Dead. - Pierre N. Guedry, one of Donalsonville's most worthy 
and respected colored citizens, died at his residence in Claiborne street at noon 
Monday, aged 46 years. The funeral took place at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with 
services and interment in the Catholic church and cemetery. His death is deeply 
regreted (sic) by all who knew him, whites as well as negroes, and sincere 
sympathy is tendered his widow and four children. The drayage business which he 
condulted (sic) for age business which he conducted for the management of A. 
Guedry. Prompt attention given to all orders. Phone 274.
