DIED. - GILBERT - In Gouldsboro, Thursday, January 24, 1884, DAVID OLIVER 
GILBERT, aged 25 years, a native of Louisiana.

San Francisco Journal, Cork Herald and Dublin, Ireland, papers please copy.

Deceased was a nephew of the estimable wife of Mr. John F. Park, one of our 
prominent merchants. He was the only son of an aged mother and his life was 
devoted to her support and maintenance. May the sod rest lightly upon him 
and may the soothing balm of consolation be poured into the gaping wounds of 
the hearts that loved him by the ruling One above.
