NECROLOGICAL. - Mrs. S. Goette, Sr., Donaldsonville. - Donaldsonville, La., 
May 29. - Mrs. Sidonius Goette, Sr., born Magdalena Yeager, widow of the 
late Sidonius Goette, Sr., a native of Baden, Germany, and a resident of 
Donaldsonville for half a century, aged seventy-six years, died Sunday night 
after an illness of some months. She leaves the following children: Sidonius 
Goette, a former mayor, and now president of the Donaldsonville Ice Company; 
Mrs. Fred Rogge, August and Henry Goette, besides a large number of 
grandchildren.

The funeral took place Monday at 5 o'clock p. m., at the Catholic church, 
with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
