Death of Mrs. Adam Guedry. - Mrs. A. M. Guedry, wife of Adam Guedry, a well-
known resident of east Ascension, died at St. Amant last Monday, aged 64 
years. Her remains were brought to Donaldsonville Wednesday and interred in 
the Catholic cemetery, after services at the church. The funeral was one of 
the largest ever seen in this section, attesting the high degree of esteem 
in which the venerable lady was held by all who knew her. Besides her 
husband, Mrs. Guedry leaves a son, H. J. Guedry, and two daughters, Misses 
Marie and Ursule Guedry, all of whom reside at St. Amant. To the bereaved 
family and friends The Chief tenders sincerest sympathy.
