John Hargans, a worthy colored citizen of this town, died at 7 o'clock p.m. 
Tuesday at his residence in Lessard street, aged 64 years. The funeral took place 
Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock and was attended by the True Friends Mutual 
Benevolent Association, of which the deceased was a member.
