Mrs. Hepburn L. Savoie, nee Edith Ayraud, died at her home on Ella plantation, six miles below Donaldsonville, last Saturday evening at nine o'clock after a short illness, and was buried the following afternoon at 3 o'clock with services at the Paincourtville Catholic church. Mrs. Savoie was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jules Ayraud of Barton, and had been married but 18 months. Besides her parents and grief-stricken young husband, she leaves several sisters and brothers - among whom are Jame and Richard Ayraud, of this town; Honore Ayraud, of Belle Alliance, and Jules Ayraud, of Beaumont, Texas - and The Chief bids these to find consolation in the knowledge that the flower plucked from this earth will bloom forever in the celestial world above.
