Hundley, nee Anna R. Barnes, died at the family home in Lessard street at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, aged seventy-two years. She had been in failing health for some time, but was confined to bed for scarcely more than twenty-four hours preceding her death, having become seriously ill Monday morning. Mrs. Hundley was a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and with her husband had resided in this city for the past two years. She was a member of the Crowley chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the funeral, which took place at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, was conducted under the auspices of the local Masonic lodge, with which order Mr. Hundley is also affiliated. Religious services were held at the Methodist church, Rev. T. D. Lipscomb officiating, and interment was made in the Protestant cemetery. Besides her venerable husband, Mrs. Hundley is survived by a brother and sister. To the bereaved family sincere sympathy is extended by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
