Death of Leon Hemindinger. - Leon Hemindinger, aged seventy-five years, died 
Tuesday at his home in Lutcher, after a brief illness with pneumonia, and 
his remains were brought to Donaldsonville Wednesday forenoon and laid to 
rest in the Jewish cemetery. Services were conducted at the grave by Rabbi 
H. Rosenwasser, of Baton Rouge. Mr. Hemindinger was a native of France, but 
had resided in this country for upwards of fifty years. He lived in 
Donaldsonville at one time, and for the past ten years had made his home in 
Lutcher. One daughter, Miss Adeline Hemindinger, survives him, and to her 
profound sympathy is extended by a wide circle of friends.
