(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, February 27, 1909, page 3 Death of Mrs. Virginia Johnson. - Mrs. Virginia L. Johnson, nee Keady, aged eighty-two years, died at 4:40 o'clock p.m. last Saturday at the residence of her son-in-law, Sam. J. Boote, manager of the Miles Company's Monroe plantation at Burnside. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Assumption, but had resided with Mr. Boote and his family for the past twenty-seven years and was well known throughout this parish. Her remains were brought to Donaldsonville Sunday morning and placed on the 11:40 a.m. T. and P. train for shipment to Napoleonville, where the funeral took place at 2 o'clock p.m. Impressive services were held at Christ Episcopal church, Rev. Quincy Ewing officiating, and interment was made in the Episcopal cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John C. Green of Hammond and Miss Mary Johnson of Burnside, and two sisters, Mrs. Edward Rodrigue and Miss Anna Keady, of Napoleonville.
