Jumonville, a progressive young merchant and popular citizen of the first ward, aged thirty years, died at his home in Smoke Bend at 12:30 o'clock p. m. last Monday, after an illness of long duration. The funeral took place at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with services at the St. Francis of Assissium Catholic church in Smoke Bend and interment in the Donaldsonville Catholic cemetery. Deceased was a member of Ascension Council No. 1087, K. of C., and Sacred Heart Branch No. 340, C. K. of A., both of which organization attended the obsequies in a body. Mr. Jumonville is survived by a young wife, three small children, one brother, Henry Jumonville, and one sister, Mrs. Hendrick Veron, all of Smoke Bend.
