Death of Mrs. F. Ker. - Mrs. F. Ker, mother of David Ker of this city, died at 
the Touro Infirmary in New Orleans at 1 o'clock p.m. yesterday, after an illness 
of three weeks, aged 72 years and 4 months. The remains of the venerable lady 
were brought to Donaldsonville this afternoon on the Texas and Pacific train 
arriving here at 3 o'clock and were laid to rest in the Protestant cemetery 
after services at the Epiccopal (sic) church. Mrs. Ker is survived by two sons, 
David and Henry, the latter a resident of New Orleans; three daughters, Mrs. 
R.B. Sheldon and Mrs. Ben Schafer of New Orleans, and Mrs. A. Allen of Texas 
City, Texas, and one brother, H.D. Percy, formerly of this city. To the bereaved 
family the sympathy of a wide circle of friends is extended.
