A message was received here last Sunday announcing the death at St. Louis, of 
Rev. Philip Landry, a Catholic priest and member of the society of Marists. 
Father Landry was a native of Donaldsonville, having been born 76 years ago, 
but has resided away from here during nearly the whole of his life. Father 
Landry was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Desire Landry, of this city.
