We extend heartfelt sympathy to our friend Alex. S. Landry, Esq., who has been 
so unfortunate as to lose his wife, a most estimable lady, whose ministering 
hand and fostering love will be sorely missed by the bereaved husband and his 
motherless children. Mrs. Landry died at her home in this parish on Sunday, 
August 26.
