Mrs. Landry LeBlanc nee Laura Landry, died at her home in Smoke Bend at 11 
o'clock Wednesday night after an illness of long duration, aged thirty-seven 
years. Her remains were laid to rest in the local Catholic cemetery at 3 
o'clock Thursday afternoon after services at the St. Francis of Assissium 
church in Smoke Bend, the funeral obsequies being attended by a large 
concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Deceased is survived by her 
husband and seven young children, to whom The Chief tenders assurances of 
sincere sympathy.
