Death of Widow Joseph LeBlanc. - Widow Joseph LeBlanc, nee Elmire Landry, a native 
and life-long resident of Ascension parish, died at 5 o'clock p. m. last Tuesday, 
the 15th inst., at the ripe old of ninety-five years, three months and twenty-one 
days. The funeral took place at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence 
of Mrs. Felix LeBlanc, with whom deceased had resided for a number of years, and 
was largely attended. Services were held at the Church of the Sacred Heart and 
interment was in the Catholic cemetery. To the bereaved relatives The Chief begs 
leave to tender assurances of heart-felt sympathy.
