Death of Octogenarian. - Misiel LeBlanc, one of the oldest citizens of Assumption 
and a Confedeterate veteran died at his home at Valenzuela last night at 8 
o'clock, at the advanced age of 83 years, 6 months and 5 days. The funeral took 
place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Services were held at St. Jules Catholic 
church, Valenzuela, after which the remains were brought to Donaldsonville and 
laid to rest in the Confederate Veterans' tomb in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased 
was a member of Major Victor Maurin Camp, U. C. V.
