(Donaldsonville, La.) 1871-current, December 29, 1906, page 5 Death of Melise LeBlanc. - Melise LeBlanc, a native of Assumption parish, but for many years past a resident of Donaldsonville, died at 8 o'clock a.m. Tuesday, the 25th inst., aged 79 years, 6 months and 14 days. Mr. LeBlanc had been in poor health for several months and his death was not entirely unexpected, but nevertheless the sad announcement filled the hearts of an exceptionally wide circle of relatives and friends with sincere regret. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock Wednesday forenoon, interment being made in the Catholic cemetery after impressive services at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Mr. LeBlanc is survived by three sons, Charles LeBlanc of Donaldsonville, Paul LeBlanc of Morgan City, and Tony LeBlanc of Abbeville, and three daughters, Mmes. Jean Bourg, Henry Robertson and Armant Bourdier, the latter being a resident of Plattenville. To these afflicted ones The Chief tenders assurances of deepest sympathy.
