LeBlanc, son of the late J. Elphege LeBlanc, many years ago a manager of B. Lemann & Bro.'s Belle Terre plantation on Bayou Lafourche, died at his home in New Orleans yesterday morning at 2 o'clock. His body arrived here on yesterday's forenoon Texas and Pacific train and was taken to the home of Mrs. L. C. Duhon, an aunt of the deceased, in Chetimaches street, from which place the funeral was conducted in the afternoon at 5 o'clock, services and interment taking place at the Catholic church and cemetery. Mr. LeBlanc was sick only a few weeks, and his untimely death proved a shock to his relatives and friends. Up to the time of his demise he held a position as chief clerk on M.F. Bradford and Company's steamer Owens. Deceased is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Folse of St. James, Mrs. Octave Dalferes and Miss Theresa LeBlanc; three brothers, Vincent, Ferdinand and Lawrence LeBlanc of New Orleans.
