The Chief extends sincere sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Lemann upon the death of 
their ten-month-old daughter, Hattie, which occurred at Ottawa Beach, Mich., at 
3:10 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The little one had been in poor health for some 
time and was taken to Ottawa Beach in the hope that her condition would be 
improved by the change, but the ruler of all the universe willed otherwise, and 
sent the angel of death to call away the baby's pure soul. The remains will arrive 
in New Orleans today and will be laid to rest there tomorrow.
