Arthur Lirette Dies. - Arthur Lirette, a well known citizen of Donaldsonville, 
passed peacefully away at his Houmas street yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. 
Deceased had been ill for a long time with an incurable disease, and was 44 years 
of age. He was a man of a genial and quiet disposition and was well liked by all 
who knew him. Besides his aged mother, he leaves to mourn his loss, a wife, one 
son, William, five brothers and two sisters. The funeral took place this 
forenoon, with services at the Catholic church. The interment was in the Catholic 
cemetery. The Chief condoles with the family in their bereavement.
