Mrs. Louise Lopez, wife of Adonis J. Lopez, died suddenly at her home at 
Manchac at 1 o'clock yesterday morning, aged 83 years. Mrs. Lopez complained 
of feeling slightly unwell Thursday night and retired early. A few hours 
later she was found dead in her bed. The venerable lady is survived by her 
husband, one child, Mrs. Oscar Richard, of Sunshine, and four grandchildren, 
mmes. Jos. M. Keating, J. Rumsey Duke, Alex. Poche and Louis Babin. Her 
remains were interred at Baton Rouge at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Mmes. 
Duke and Babin and Miss Adele Israel went up to Baton Rouge yesterday 
morning to attend the funeral.
