Miss Ozitie Landry, aged seventy-nine years, a native and life-long resident 
of Smoke Bend, died at 5 o'clock last Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and 
Mrs. Cleophas Alonzo, with whom she had resided for a long time, and her 
remains were laid to rest in the Smoke Bend cemetery at 9 o'clock a. m. 
Monday, after services at the St. Francis of Assisium Catholic church. Miss 
Landry is survived by one brother, Jerome Landry, of upper Ascension, to whom 
sincere sympathy is tendered.
