Edward Fernand Landry, a native of this parish, but for many years past a 
resident of Whitecastle, died at his home in that town at 11:30 o'clock a. 
m. Monday, March 29, aged fifty years and three months. His remains were 
brought to Donaldsonville on the 8:47 o'clock T. and P. train Tuesday 
morning, and after services at the Catholic church were interred in the 
Landry tomb in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Landry was a half-brother of L. A. 
Landry, Sr., of the fourth ward, and a brother of Misses Blanche and Estelle 
Landry, of this city. To these and other members of the bereaved family the 
heartfelt sympathy of the entire community is respectfully tendered.
