Mrs. H. C. Lanoux. - Mrs. H. C. Lanoux, wife of a well-known farmer of New 
River, died at her home at Gonzales last Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, after a 
short illness from influenza and pneumonia. The funeral took place at 5 
o'clock Tuesday evening, with services and interment at the Catholic church 
and cemetery at Cornerview. Deceased was 48 years of age, and besides her 
husband she is survived by three sons: Forrest, who is at Camp Hancock, 
Augusta, Ga.; Robert, who is with the American army in France, and Burris, who 
resides with the family.
